I love the way you make exactly the furniture you want with your thrift store finds. It is fabulous!

Building a road map is exactly what I am doing. I want to use it to help me prioritize. There are so many things I would like to do, but since time and money are such big factors (and I have so little of either) I am hoping that a map can help me make the best decisions.Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14703479564503074258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7019112442705574172.post-61008273546177523982009-10-14T09:05:56.822-04:002009-10-14T09:05:56.822-04:00Great post! When I was growing up, I had a very definite Victorian/historic style, but I have changed a lot since then. And I wasn't really sure where my style was headed. So I just kept looking--at photos, homes that I loved, objects I found beautiful. And the images that kept resonating with me the most are what I'll be building my home around.

I'm also working on a road map for my home. If there's anything I'm bad at, it's throwing together items that I like without thinking about cohesion. So I am working on that and can't wait to experiment some more in my house!Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00875152884082759723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7019112442705574172.post-48503835678883085402009-10-13T21:47:42.848-04:002009-10-13T21:47:42.848-04:00Now you've got me craving a baked potato.. The Yukons came in a colsed paper bag, so I couldn't really see them. I was so happy when they were all different sizes, dirty and some had eyes. I had to scrub them, and cut off some eyes & bad spots - Felt like real potatoes.
You are nuts. But I agree with you. And we both know I'm nuts, too.
